That philosophy inspired our client to develop Born Free® dog food, a one-of-a-kind evolution within the evolutionary diet category. Our brand identity, marketing strategy and multi-layered social media campaigns take a stand and communicate an ownable, differentiated point-of-view instead of just following the category status quo.

To maximize the impact of the Born Free brand refresh we tailored a strategic social media plan to increase awareness and drive store traffic, geo-targeting the Chicago metro area. Boosted posts, custom content and online scavenger hunts drove 375,000 impressions and 250% growth in followers within four months.

For the past 5 years, Kick has partnered with Oxbow Animal Health to rebrand existing small pet feed and hay lines and create strategies and packaging for new line extensions into treats, Ag and hard goods. Together, we developed clear branding hierarchies, naming conventions and an extensive packaging system spanning across 100+ SKUs, cohesively establishing the brand as the expert and market leader. Oxbow educates and guides small pet moms providing the most nutritionally complete feeding offering and species-specific life enrichments. Creating year-over-year double digit growth and an engaged consumer base.

Ears, pizzles and hooves never looked this tasty. Kick created a branding and packaging system highlighting the domestic sourcing capabilities of Cargill®, making an easier sell for pet specialty and grocery alike.

Feeding Every Age and Activity Level
In one fell swoop, we refreshed Nutrena’s® ag-focused Loyall® pet food and extended their premium and grain-free recipes into a sister brand, Loyall Life™. Taking the bold step of featuring therapy, service and rescue animals outdoors in their natural, happy state of wonder and play. The active photography deliberately drew the animals’ focus toward the owner, creating engagement and sparking joy.
